2016 Dstv SuperSport Cup Champions

On Saturday we earned our first crown of the 2016 season after edging out league defending champions Gor Mahia in the DSTV Super Cup clash staged at the Mbaraki Stadium. Both sides fielded their newly signed players with Bandari throwing in a strong attack force led by Ugandan Dan Sserunkuma and Edwin Lavatsa while Gor Mahia paraded Jacob Keli upfront.
Anthony Kimani separated the two sides with a 67th minute goal from a corner delivery in a win that ended Gor Mahia’s unbeaten record.With the win , Bandari dethroned Gor Mahia to the title and also pocketed 750,000 shillings in prize money .Both teams are currently preparing for their CAF Competitions and the win for the Coastal based side is a big boost ahead of their date against St. Eloi Lupopo.
