Farouk Shikhalo, the Bandari FC goalkeeper had yet another impressive outing between the sticks as the team played to a 1 – 1 draw with Zoo FC in the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) clash staged at Kericho Green Stadium.
The keeper, who has had an impressive season so far, added to his growing profile an impressive output as he stopped a number of promising moves from the home team, even though he was beaten in the final minute by Mike Madoya.
His performance was however enough to draw praise from his coach, Bernard Mwalala who also termed the recent call up Shikhalo got to the Kenya national team as a motivator.
“Shikhalo was very impressive throughout and I am very happy with his improvement. He has been working hard as a player and we can see the call up to the national team was well deserved. He did well,” he said
